Le Turini de l’Escarene, Sospel Coaraze et Contes le 24 octobre 2022

Dénivelé 2500m consommation 1000Wh avec utilisation partielle du mode sport. Temps doux, peu de soleil mais avec une forte humidité traditionnelle à cette saison. Cette fois je pars de l’Escarene, direction Sospel par le col de Braus 1000m, belle montée qui réveille tous les cyclistes. Petit Déjeuner à Sospel 350m et pendant ce temps je charge ma batterie 30mn. Ce bistrot est toujours ouvert et bien sympa. En route pour le Turini 1604m et comme j’ai un peu de courant en plus j’utilise le sport pour avaler ce col légendaire que je trouve aussi dur que ceux des Alpes. Ensuite la longue descente de Perra Cava glisse toute seule. Col St Roch, col de Savel et longue descente avant deux petites secousses pour retrouver Coaraze complètement éteint. Je grignote sur une table du café fermé et je finis mon eau. Il ne faut surtout pas boire les eaux des fontaines en ces périodes de sécheresse. Encore une descente, l’avant-dernière avant d’arriver à Contes, dernière remontée de 400 et qq mètres pour retrouver mon ultime sommet proche de Berre les Alpes et ma dernière descente qui me ramène au pont de L’Escarene, mon parking du jour.
