Le Mont Vial 1549m au départ du Var 123m

Enfin un joli dimanche se prépare.
Depuis quelques temps les journées sans un grain sont rares. Hier il est passé
bien près pour nous et encore plus près pour d'autres. En montant à Revest Les
Roches l'averse d'hier après midi a laissé des traces sur la route. Mais quelle
jolie montée, des feuilles toutes jeunes et du vert de tous côtés. Ces villages
perchés de Gilette, Tourette Château, Toudon, me rappellent mes souvenirs de
jeune animateur de randonnées. C'est un régal de monter par cette douceur et ce
calme d'un grand WE. Une guinguette est ouverte à mi chemin de ma montée,
accueilli comme un champion, que je ne suis pas, je me régale pour un prix
dérisoire de deux pâtisseries maison. Je loupe la petite route qui monte au col
du jour, que j'ai bien vue, mais le panneau indiquant le Mont Vial a été
arraché. J'en profite pour visiter Toudon. Demi tour et je retrouve la montée
au col du Mont Vial. Je trouve assez d'oxygène pour faire la causette avec deux
randonneurs sympa. Comme j'ai économisé ma batterie au cours des premiers 1000m
de dénivelé, je suis large et lui demande de faire un effort à son tour. Tout
ça n'est que rigolade, sauf que l'orage arrive en même temps que moi au sommet
que j'atteins en un peu moins de deux heures avec ma batterie de 500Wh délestée
de 69% et un dénivelé de 1500m. Pendant que l'orage s'excite sur le Mont Vial
j'en profite pour filer à travers d'autres villages et retrouver le
Paillon.
Dénivelé total 1700m, durée 4h et 70km.
