Le lac de l'Ascension ne
sera pas pour aujourd'hui. Pour une reprise c'est une reprise. Ce jeudi matin
de l'Ascension nous avons choisi la rando du lac de l'Ascension. Avec un couple
d'amis à l'ancienne car il s'agit d'un homme et d'une femme, nous voilà élancés
sur ce sentier en forêt. Ça monte dur jusqu'au refuge de l'Oriol Saint
Marguerite. Une petite larme en redécouvrant ce joli chalet abandonné si
confortable et plein d'amour. Que sont devenus Monique et ?, tiens je ne
rappelle plus de son prénom. La pente s'adoucit. Au petit col qui sépare les
deux Oriols on est déjà dans la neige. On commence en évitant les névés et
utilisant les couverts de mélèzes. La neige est partout épaisse et molle, elle
ne porte plus ou si peu. Bernard en tête comme toujours dans ces cas là trace
la montée ou plutôt fait des marches, léger comme une plume il s'enfonce
parfois à disparaître. Nous derrière on ne bronche pas. Tout près du col des
Querelets on jette l'éponge. La dernière pente nous paraît risquée, alors comme
on n'est encore jeune et qu'il en reste tant à faire on reviendra un peu plus
tard dans la saison. Dommage car les mouflons ne sont pas loin, enfin ce qu'il
en reste car les loups prolifèrent et mangent à leur faim. Chaque année les
hardes diminuent. Nous descendons, retrouvons un parterre de fleurs et le
squattons à notre aise. Seuls au monde nous y passons un moment agréable. Au
retour on s'attarde à admirer les jeunes pousses de sapins et mélèzes. Un tétra
fonce comme une fusée entre les branches. L'eau des torrents coule bruyamment.
Les randonneurs sont heureux.
Rando de plus de 5h avec un dénivelé de 1100m
